Vienna has state-run housing designed by the artist Hundertwasser. His architecture is green, meaning he is a naturalist. All of his design centers around nature: straight lines are evil, incongruity is beautiful. He also plants trees, also known as 'green tenants,' on the roof in order to replace those removed during construction. Hundertwasser also designed the city's incinerator, making a factory a work of art.
